Where I started...

In 2012, my therapist asked me what seemed to be a simple question: “What are your hobbies?” At the time, I had already earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and was finishing my Master's Degree in Project Management. Deciding to take the route of working with my dad to continue to grow the family business, I thought I had it all figured out. But honestly, I was depressed, highly anxious and totally confused about what I wanted to do with my life.

I wanted to say, “Lady, I have no idea I have no idea…ugh going to brunch with friends?” But I thought hard and finally said: “Well, I love reading fashion magazines.” That answer, in addition to faith, self-discovery and a lot of hard work guided my life journey down a path I never even considered.

Less than a year later, I moved to New York to pursue a career in fashion styling. Now, nearly a decade later I have become an Emmy-nominated wardrobe stylist, business owner and strive daily to help others uncover and showcase the awesomeness’ that lives within them. Whether working with one of my styling clients, speaking at a conference, connecting with a mentee, or just simply doing the day to day work of running my business, it’s important for me to always strive to show up as the best version of myself. My life and the work I do is not just about me; it’s bigger than me. My decision to take a leap of faith and invest in myself helped me create a life that is multifaceted and filled with more than I could have ever imagine

Where I am

Through the years, I have had the privilege to have a client base composed of many talented, driven, and inspirational people from an array of industries. I have worked with TV networks and major brands like ABC, BET, Food Network, Lipton, Pepsi, Amazon and the list goes on. The work that I do continues to fuel my passion and purpose to use my skills in wardrobe building, style curation, and personal branding to help empower others.

My versatile eye lends itself to talk shows hosts, celebrity chefs, entertainment personalities, and multi-hyphenated professionals, creatives and entrepreneurs. No matter who I’m working with, the approach is the same: to help guide you in uncovering & highlighting your unique style that aligns and resonates with your authentic self. The AMM styling holistic approach seeks to translate your lifestyle, gifts, talents, personality and image into a style story that’s empowering and uniquely yours.
