LEGOS Give Me Life!

So y’all, I AMM obsessed with Legos!  I did not think I would say this at my big age of 38, but they bring me so much joy! For Christmas, my sister gifted me a rose bouquet LEGO set. I was so excited, I opened it and started building on Christmas Day. Look at me at my mom’s house on Christmas, straight focused while my sister’s dog Keiko watched me.

What I have learned, while slowly building my bouquet, is that I need more child-like energy in my life. I also need more opportunities to decompress, be slow, and create with no pressure at all. To just be.

I also love that this LEGO set opened my eyes to other ways I can express myself and decorate my home. For me, style is holistic, and I AMM always seeking ways to infuse my personal style in how I live. Currently, the roses I have been creating sit in a vase on my TV stand in my living room as decoration. I get so much joy every time I look at them. One of my friends sent me a cute way to display them on the wall. I might try it out when I’m done. But for now, I AMM enjoying the childlike happiness and calming effect it brings to me after a long day of working.

Just so you know, they have mad sets that are a vibe! I’m thinking of getting the Philly brotherly LOVE one next.
